Meet The Senior Helpers Team

Our physical office is at 4726 East Towne Blvd, Madison WI 53704, though our huge network of Caregivers and satellite locations throughout our service area rarely requires your even visiting us in person…we come to you!

Employing and managing over 150 Caregivers in the Madison area alone requires a strong team and a great system. Please meet some of the folks on our team that help make it happen.

Marion Chapin - As Client Service Manager, Marion ultimately ensures excellent Client care. Her experience caring for her parents helps her personally identify with Clients, family members, and staff. With over 30 years of home care experience, including Visiting Nurse Service, Catholic Charities, and Home Health United, Marion has a passion for elderly to remain independent and safe in their homes, while being valued and treated with respect. She's a mother of 3, grandmother of 6, married 35 years to Jack, loves to bake and has been involved with Stephens Ministry and Community theater -- recently “Hello Dolly”. You really should meet her; Marion is kind of awesome.

Sandy Jensen - As our chief RN on staff, Sandy performs complete and full nursing assessments for clients when they need personal care. She maintains contact, conducting periodic visits to re-assess client needs as they change, documenting these assessments and communicating changes to their loved ones or medical personnel as required. Sandy also supervises Caregivers and provides them specialized, valuable training.

Stacy Zaldumbide - As Lead Scheduler, Stacy is responsible for all client/caregiver scheduling. She can be found at her desk, on the phone, arranging daily visits and care for our Senior Helpers clients. Along with overseeing scheduling, she works closely with Marion to ensure each client's needs are met. She also has a supercute haircut, 3 kids, 2 dogs, and a cat.

Laurie Mosher - Laurie has the distinct pleasure of working with both numbers and people in her position at Senior Helpers. As Office Administrator, she manages payroll, Telephony, client billing, purchasing, and financial matters. As Human Resource Director, she works with staff to find, hire, and train the best caregivers to work for Senior Helpers. Laurie is happily married, raising twin daughters, and enjoys creative ventures such as watercolor painting, writing, and dramatic arts.

Brittany Shimek - Brittany is Client Services Support, assisting Marion and the rest of the office staff with client care, scheduling and payroll, as well as occasional visits and activities out in the field. When she is not at Senior Helpers, Brittany is a social work graduate student. She just recently became a cat lover, is a lifelong fan of a certain boy band and enjoys speaking French.

Joan Bolhuis - Joan is the friendly and efficient Office Assistant for Senior Helpers. In addition to receptionist duties, she screens applicants, maintains office supplies, and keeps our caregiver database current. Outside of work, Joan loves to spend time with her four grown children and their families - especially her precious grandchildren - and enjoys doing just about anything outside!

Dennis Fleischer - Owner and Executive Director, Dennis maintains the operations of Senior Helpers. He also enjoys talking and meeting with prospective clients to help determine each individual’s needs. As a young man, Dennis acted as a caregiver to his grandfather and is happy to be able to work in an industry that helps people in need. He enjoys the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family, especially his wife and son.

Lisa Fleischer - Lisa is wife of owner Dennis Fleischer. As Executive Administrator, she is responsible for accounts payable and backup for payroll and invoicing. She is proud to be in a business that enables seniors to remain independent. Along with reading and spending time with family, Lisa’s main joys are her husband Dennis and son Noah.
